Since being put on the entity list by US Government on May 16th, Huawei has been covered with concerns and mixed messages in terms of how they will address the supply chain issues and public trusts. Recently, the US suppliers were given two different extensions to sell products and services to Huawei. How is Huawei reacting to this series of political incidents made towards them? What impact does Huawei see that this entity list will bring to the global communication industry? And what's Huawei's Plan B in response to it?

In a recent interview with RCR Wireless News conducted at Huawei USA’s headquarters in Plano, Texas, Tan said Huawei spends around $11 billion each year procuring goods and services from American companies reaching some 50,000 workers and their families.

In this video interview, Joy Tan, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at Huawei, spoke to Phil Harvey, US Bureau Chief at Light Reading, giving Huawei's global business updates, addressing concerns on supply chains, as well as providing views on how to comprehensively and transparently address the cyber security issue of telecom operators' network. Joy also touched a little bit on the plan of getting its mobile devices switched over to the new Harmony OS while committed to support the Android community for global consumers.
